Iknow the bridge is a swing bridge, but I can imagine the skipper saying this (swearing omitted) so he wouldn’t crash into it. Whitby is one of my favourite places with it’s ginnels and alleyways, pubs tucked away serving the best real ale and not forgetting the best fish ’n’ chip shop (probably) in the world. THE MAGPIE.
